Psychedelic Integration Support
Psychedelic Integration Support
"Inner transformation can be achieved only through individual determination, focused effort, and personal responsibility. Any plans to change the situation in the world are of problematic value, unless they include a systematic effort to change the human condition that has created the crisis. To the extent to which evolutionary change in consciousness is a vital prerequisite for the future world, the outcome of this process depends on the initiative of each of us."
Stanislav Grof
Disclaimer: Psychedelic substances are illegal in many countries, including in the UK. This website does not promote engaging in illegal activities, or provide access to scheduled substances. The intention behind this page and my work as a transpersonal coach is to inform, share resources and offer support to people who have at their own risk and choice, experienced psychedelics where it is legal to do so. I am not providing substances and if such enquiries were to be made you will be ignored. Please respect this very important boundary. Thank you.

Psychedelics are finally gaining the attention, recognition and respect they deserve. More and more people are curious to try and this is wonderful news. However psychedelics are not to be considered a "cure all" solution, nor something to try without preparation, appropriate research, consideration and understanding. Thankfully there are many reliable resources and information out there for anyone not familiar with the subject to gain some understanding. Lets begin by sharing some resources where you can get started:
EroWid is where I got started when I was a teenager. I read the reliable information about the substances I was most interested in and then read the various experiences people shared on the site. It is a an old but reliable place for beginners to start.
Read "How to Change your Mind", by Michael Pollan or watch the documentary on Netflix. Pollan does a great job at describing the history, discovery and uses of: Psilocybin, LSD, MDMA and Mescaline (Peyote and Wuachuma\San Pedro cacti).
Watch "Fantastic Fungi" on Netflix and be mind-blown by Paul Stamets passion and experiences with magic mushrooms and more.
However one important thing to state is that psychedelics are not for everyone and that you do not need psychedelic experiences to enter altered states of consciousness. Psychedelics can hold a very powerful role in shifting, resetting, changing our lives for the better but so does a daily meditation or embodiment practices. If you feel a calling to trying psychedelics this is good, if you have a genuine curiosity in exploring what might be like to be under the influence of these sacred substances I can support you to prepare, suggest a couple of places where you can try and most importantly I can support you during the integration process post experience.
The psychedelic experience process can be divided in 3 steps:
The preparation: gathering information, understanding what substance is needed, what the intention might be. Understanding the importance of set, settings and dosage.
The actual experience.
The integration process post experience.

FAQs
Who is this for?
For anyone interested in psychedelics and psychedelic experiences. It is both for the seasoned users who have had plenty of psychedelic experiences and looking for integration support; and for the new explorers, those who have yet to try but are very curious and are looking for guidance and support before delving in the psychedelic realm head first.
Why is this good for you?
Psychedelic experiences can be life changing, life shifting and resetting. Doing these experiences can have a big impact on anyone's life and should not be taken lightly. Recreational use of psychedelic substances is well known. It is ok to do these experiences recreationally if you have done your research and really understood the risks and the importance of set and settings. It is also very important to understand that the psychedelic experience does not end when the trip ends and you come down. Psychedelic integration is a very important part of the experience. Research has shown that certain entheogenic doses may facilitate neuroplasticity in the brain, and that the neuroplasticity window post psychedelics is strongest the first few days up to a period of three weeks. Therefore integration work is the opportunity you give yourself to make sense of the experiences and the insights you might have received, as well as to "reset" your life. Integration done with a guide or therapist can really consolidate the healing purposes of doing these experiences. Psychedelic integration support can also help you to prepare for the experience and set an intention that works for you, and help you feeling grounded in your decision of why you have chosen to do this experience in the first place.
What are the benefits?
Psychedelic integration support can help you prepare before a psychedelic experience and help you make sense of the experience and insights. Feeling supported after such a life changing experience can make a huge difference to the overall outcome, I will provide a general integration session as a first step. Then we can decide which integration practices you would like support with. It is suggested that you have a clear after care plan post experience and that you are able to take some time off to give yourself the opportunity to reflect on the experience and integrate it before returning to your busy life. I can support you to plan before and after. As well as offering follow up sessions a few months after the experience.
How many sessions do I need?
Integration is not a linear process, sometimes it will take a life time to integrate certain psychedelic experiences, a suggestion is that you join at least 2 sessions post experience and a couple before the experience for preparation. You can always continue integration work on your own once you have a good plan and some structure which I can support you with according to your needs.
How does it work?
If you are new to psychedelic experiences:
Preparation: I will welcome you in my coaching space to help and support you understand and clarify why you would like to have this experience. We could have one, two or more preparation sessions to work out a plan if you need, if you are comfortable you could share your intention to wanting to take psychedelics or I could support you in formulating one. If you do not know where to do your first experience I can share a couple of reputable places where you can safely explore (in Holland). It will be entirely your responsibility where you choose to go and you should do your own research and risk assessment on the places that I or others may recommend you. I can support you plan the time before and time after the experience, providing psychological support and listening to your concerns if you have any. I can provide some practical advice on what to bring (though this should be discussed with the people you decide to journey with). I will not advice you on what substances you should take, that should be your own decision outside the coaching space but you are welcome to ask me questions about all sorts of things that come to your mind, I might not always have the answer but I can be a calm and reassuring presence to explore your curiosity on psychedelics and their potential as a transcendental, potentially life changing, experience. Keeping in mind that each experience and substance will be subjective and unique to you. Preparing for the experience is a very useful thing to do, practicing some guided meditation, body scans and grounding techniques can be beneficial before taking Entheogens.
Integration support: After your psychedelic experience you will be held by the people that run your retreat of choice. When you come down from the "trip" it is always a good idea to take it easy, eat well, sleep, stay hydrated and maybe spend some time in nature to contemplate. It is not advisable to take any important decisions straight away. Give yourself the time that you need to land. A very useful thing to do immediately after is to write or draw, paint the experience in your own words, images, metaphors. Whatever you recall, however it felt, any insight you might have received, visions, images that you saw, sensations you felt, good or bad, it all is welcome to be expressed in your own way and however you would like. We can meet after 3 or 4 days from your experience and you are welcome to talk about it with me, this can help you make sense of it, discuss insights, ideas, ground, return to your daily life and establish one or two integration practices of your choice. I am happy to support you as best as I can for as long or short as you may need.
If you are a seasoned psychedelic user:
Many people seem to be doing psychedelic experience after psychedelic experience at regular intervals. Some recreationally some with specific reasons in mind. Exploring different plants, compounds and trying out the many retreats available both in Europe, the UK, USA, and Latin America. If you are one of these people and feel like you have not received much support after your experiences you are so very welcome at our liminal space. If you are finding some resistance and feel dubious about why you might benefit from talking about your experiences with me, it is a legitimate feeling. Integrating psychedelic experiences is different for all of us but getting support and making sense of your experiences and your desire to keep on repeating psychedelic trip after psychedelic trip might be helpful. I believe that after each experience comes the integration work. This will be different for everyone as all of us have different needs and I am offering support to finding out just what those needs are. I am offering you the opportunity to be held and supported. I am offering you the motivation to make the transitions and changes you have been meaning to do in your life. I am offering you a safe space where your emotions and experiences are held and supported respectfully and with compassion. I am here for you. This is also for those people who might have had difficult psychedelic experiences in the past and might need help integrating those, it does not matter how long ago you had your experiences talking about them with a compassionate coach or therapist can help you move on and perhaps try again in the future.

Testimonials
"Thank you for my two very special integration sessions. The first one was very natural and grounding. I was struck by your presence, less words, more presence and realness; rather than following an agenda... it was very spacious and you worked with where I was, not where I am 'supposed' to be, which felt like you really honoured my feelings. The second integration session was very subtle, you held my ambiguity about entering into the world - the river and the shore visualisation empowered my agency as I was coming out of the intense part of the retreat. You heard where I held anxiety, gently took me to a more light and playful place. Your warmth and authenticity really supported these two journeys, so thank you."
